America’s Most Common Workplace Injury is Hearing Loss

An article in USA Today brings attention to the high risk of hearing loss in the workplace caused by loud noise. In fact, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), hearing loss is the most common work-related injury, with 22 million workers exposed annually to hazardous levels of occupational noise.

Delaware Hearing Loop Bill Signed into Law by Governor Jack Markell

Delaware Governor Jack Markell signed House Bill (HB) 402, Delaware's "hearing loop education bill" into law on July 19, 2016. The Hearing Loss Association of America Delaware Chapters worked on this legislation as a critical key to success for the “Let’s Loop Delaware" project and as part of the Hearing Loss Association of America's “Let's Loop America" project.
